How old should pug puppies be to take them away from their mother?

I want to adopt pug puppies but I don't know how old they should be before I take them away from their mom.

Details:

  • they must be atleast 8 weeks old, but around 10-12 weeks is ideal.
  • Most puppies are usually about 8-13 weeks old when they are taken away from their mothers.
  • 8 - 10 weeks, at least 8 weeks. They must be fully weaned, no earlier then 8 weeks if you take a pug puppy from it's mother under 8 weeks then you will have a lot of problems, and attitude and manners you cannot fixed, it's best to wait till 8 - 9 - 10 weeks. Do not take them away under 8 weeks! Best to wait maximum is 8 - 13 weeks best.
  • Bare minimum is eight weeks. The person you are adopting from should already know this, if they don't or are offering a younger puppy you need to look elsewhere. Pugs have so many potential health issues that you can't afford to take a risk with an irresponsible breeder.

  • For small breeds 10-12 weeks(8 weeks is the youngest they can be before being re-homed).
  • Not just pugs, but any puppy should not leave its mum unless it is 8 to 10 weks old!
